Private by design

The trusted-person link is for that Timer only. The WhoNet DM thread is encrypted using the platform DM encryption key, is not public profile content, and expires after the safety session. USA Documents does not choose the trusted person, monitor the meetup, or automatically contact police or emergency services.

Important limitation

The platform cannot guarantee that a trusted person has their phone available, opens the text, keeps the private room open, or responds.
