WhoNet Timer — Free Trusted-Person Safety Check
Free for everyone, including people without a USA Documents account. Choose the meetup start and stop time and one loved one or trusted friend. Your phone prepares a normal text message containing a private, unguessable WhoNet DM link. Your trusted person can open that private room without creating an account. If you miss the safety check or press I NEED HELP, the trusted-person room is marked urgent.
Private by design
The trusted-person link is for that Timer only. The WhoNet DM thread is encrypted using the platform DM encryption key, is not public profile content, and expires after the safety session. USA Documents does not choose the trusted person, monitor the meetup, or automatically contact police or emergency services.
Important limitation
The platform cannot guarantee that a trusted person has their phone available, opens the text, keeps the private room open, or responds. The initial text includes the scheduled safety-check time so the person you chose knows when to check on you. If immediate help is needed, use the fastest safe option available where you are.
